I submitted 4 tickets, and it finally cleared up, but many fellow players are still experiencing this problem. During this time, I was unable to compete in most of the contests. I dropped from the number two all time power taker to number 3 (yes, that's how far ahead I was over most. It took a month for them to catch me).

Resources do not build when I am offline if they fall under about 2 million. This isn't a big issue, because I usually am rich in resources and use a high resource balance to get people to attack me.

I receive "unknown error" about 15 times a day.

My drop rate on level 10 anthro camps for elite ingredients has been about 17% since I started keeping track, about 5 months ago, and banshees drop at a rate of about 1800 talons for every 1000 attacks.

But the number 1 complaint is that everything that Kabam develops decreases my opponents appetite for risk, so that Player vs. PLayer action is rarer on this game than any other game I have ever played. I can't believe that you actually have to bet people to fight, in a war game.
Yes, in this game, it is the players choice to attack or defend, but that is not the way warfare works. When an aggressive enemy decides to attack, you have three choices. You can fight, surrender or run away. All three of these choices have consequences. But in DOA you have the choice to do nothing, and this only has the consequence of losing easily replaceable resources. So, people being logical, the choice is made for the least consequential action, which is to give up resources that can be reacquired with 15 minutes of farming.

Something like siege warfare, or slavery, needs to be introduced so that "hiding" is no longer a no risk choice.

I agree that it is easier to have the tickets submitted properly instead of going through the forums but at the same time it takes them forever to respond to a ticket and when they do respond the answer is almost always the same. "Sorry we can't help you with your issue". They need to stop adding to the game until they go through all the tickets and respond appropriately. Either giving the CORRECT resolution to the issue or by FIXING what they need to fix. Once they fix all the current issues then they can start adding stuff again and they should add properly. Little by little and schedule a time to have the game shut down in order to put the additions in place properly so there are fewer issues with the updates.

What the hell is with all this Rate Limiting? I was in the middle of attacking a city and got booted for an hour and can't even check my messages to see the outcome of the hit. How are we supposed to attack and defend properly if we get booted for an hour in the middle of the attacks?

IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE CHANGES YOU NEED TO INFORM US FIRST SO WE CAN ADJUST ACCORDINGLY AND NOT RISK LOSING TROOPS OR RESOURCES.

If you were a volunteer would you want to take the time you could be doing something else to go back through that forum and clean it up? Half the threads in there aren't actually bugs, some of the threads have bugs that have been fixed, a lot of them are players not realizing that the error is something they did wrong or not realizing how a game mechanic works or the reason something is the way it is. It's much easier to start over and have people send you a single bug "report" than to weed through a thread with 10 pages.
If I volunteered to moderate this forum then that is exactly part of what I would be expecting to do. If you dont want to be responsible for putting at least a small amount of your time into making the forums a pleasant and informative tool for players and employees of kabam to utilise fully then you shouldnt be a moderator!

This. That's pretty much the key job description of being a forum moderator. Mods are expected to put in more time keeping the filth and clutter off the forums. Fact. Go anywhere else, any moderator will tell you that. Here, mods (with an exception of 3, in the entirety of kabam forums) just post away on forums and I'd wager most of the flags go unnoticed. Sorry guys, but most of the mods here are glorified "experts" of the game. Nothing more. Fact.

Players are the ones that are expected to contribute to the forum and the overall knowledge of the game. Mods are expected to keep it organized and relatively poster-friendly. Ahem...not the other way around, especially when we don't have the tools to keep the forums clean. Fact.

This is all true, "learn how to read", "no, you just can't tell time" -- Moderators speaking as a player or a Moderator should not be saying these things, even if they are true. They are rude, and to some people, say ... people who actually CANNOT read well, or people who don't speak English very well-- No reason for this type of behavior. ------- And LOADS of people are still waiting on their rewards from challenges as far back as the Fangtooth Challenge (if not further back), as well as the more recent Sand Strider Challenge. I've filed about 30 tickets, maybe 40+ with the Sand Strider Challenge, only to be told that nothing will be done (and that's if I even get a reply!).

Can someone please explain to me what this Rate limiting crap is all about? How are we supposed to play the game if we are worried that every action will land us banned for a full hour or more? Kabam doesn't want us to use 3rd party add on scripts but they keep screwing with the game to the point that the scripts are the only reason anyone can even do anything in the game (unless they are ruby players who spend money on the rubies so they can skip most of the work the rest of us are TRYING to do).

    Can ANYONE answer this?

How is anyone supposed to be able to watch the time when there is no clock in the game and the messages and reports show completely different times? The messages will show UTC time, the reports will show local time but everything actually runs on game time (which does not match the UTC time).
And yes I have gotten the same response to my tickets stating that nothing will be done IF I even get a response. Then immediately after that message I get a request to do a survey to tell them how they are doing.

Guess who decided to be completely honest in those surveys and still no results.
