Is anyone else having problems turning off the game sounds?

It's at the point that I just don't want to play anymore. That music plays louder than anything else. I watch TV through my PC, playing the game at the same time. It was never a problem in the past, but now that damned music wakes up EVERYONE in the house. I love the game, but I'm just soooo tired of all the BS. I've been playing for a year and a half, and the devs have kept it in beta all this time just so they have an excuse when they f**k up the code. "It's still in beta". If it's in beta, why are they charging for it?

why is it that now the music is on when the game starts?
I am playing since more than one year and the music never switched on by itself but now since a few days, most of the time when I log on the music is playing. the music icon is blue and on. Really annoying...

very smart lol. but if you would read carefully....
it turns on by itself most of the time I start the game. It never did that for me in over one year of playing.

Yeah I want to know how to turn the music off permanently. It's really annoying and I can't listen to music while I play because everytime the game restarts the music comes on

*bump* since this is still not fixed.

The music is loud and annoying and I can't turn it off immediately, since I have to click away the cassandra-message first, which makes it even more annoying.

Is it really so hard to fix this bug that this still persists after about 2 or three weeks?

Yep it is. So are the Cassandra messages popping up every time i refresh the page. It wasn't for some time (it showed once a day), and now it is showing up again. And without refreshes i can't really play (attacks stuck at 'waiting for report' etc.).
