Smaller daily (or hourly) Tourney?

I enjoyed the tourney, but would it be possible to have something like a daily or even hourly tourney, for smaller prizes? I'm thinking a tourney that begins at the top of every hour (for hourly), lasts 30 minutes, then resets for the next go-round. Of course this would require a completely automated results system (since the current tourney seems to require a bit of operator input at the completion). Maybe too ambitious....

Not too ambitious. We definitely intend to experiment with the Tournament Maps and try different things. Both to try to find the best combinations, but also to keep things fresh and lively.

I would also suggest setting an entrance time on the map, theres a lot of players that come in in the last few seconds to take hi lvl outposts without havein to do any of the work, this didnt happen to me but i saw a lot of it. I would say set the enterance time on the new tourn. at 15 min before the clock stops. That wat the players that work their butts off have a chance to reclaim their map

Would require small prizes and a tiny map.

I also suspect that at the end of each of these, all bases would be level 20. No-one is going to waste troops upgrading to win an hourly event. Particularly being as (depending on the server) if you upgrade to anything less than about 5k you just make the base a target.
