If you were ranked Officer, Vice Chancelor or something, you will obviously lose that rank. I'm pretty sure that is what it's talking about.
No, it does not mean you are your "own" alliance. You are in no alliance, technically. If you wanted to create your own alliance, you could do that. There are a lot of newer players who have these "1" player alliances, it is not a good idea because larger alliances have no respect in general for alliance outside the top 20, unless you have worked out a friendly diplomacy with them. The best thing to do is get into a good alliance, if your might is to low for the entry requirements a lot of big alliances have sister or feeder alliance for you to develop and grow.
I think you might have misread his post, NordicWarrior. He said that when you leave an alliance, you will be on your own, as in, you will be in no alliance.
yea, that's not what I remember reading when I responded, but whatever either way the info is the same.
