How can i have a battle report STATING "VICTORY" and suddenly have NO TROOPS LEFT... contrary to the report. Whats up with THAT !!!!

When you say "no troops left" do you mean they were actually killed or that they're simply NOT in your capital city? If it's the latter... it may just be the common glitch/bug where troops get stuck in a kind of Limbo. Sometimes Refreshing the page will correct it, but other times you may need to go to your Muster Point and locate the troops in question (if you're able to that is, it's not always possible) And try to Recall them from there. But I'm only guessing that is the problem as it's one that strikes many of us...far too often for my liking.
Other than that, all I can think to suggest is to submit a Support ticket with as much info as you can. Things like the General in charge of the march, what kind & how many of each troop (a screenshot of the Battle report attached to the Ticket can help a lot) On several occasions I've managed to get back troops that mysteriously died or got lost in transit, due in no small part to the proof provided by my screenshots. If in doubt or wary of something, Screenshot it for it later! Most notably was the recent Selective Defense debacle. I had over 400K of mixed troops (mostly my Farming troops too) erased by the "powers that be" due to a mistaken assumption that I had benefited from the glitch some players had encountered. But after submitting a couple of Support tickets with some relevant screenshots, and LOTS of information stating and proving my case (and remaining calm & level-headed, so I wouldn't cuss and spoil matters). And a week or so for my account to be fully checked out, patience served me very well there for a change lol I was finally rewarded with my troops being returned to me again. I have to admit, I nearly did "rage quit" over it too. But patience, persistence and proof won in the end!

My troops returned .It was a need to refresh the page . I am just getting the hang of the game... realizing more and more that there are a lot of support in this game thanks ..
