I Think it would be cool to be able to place a few minefields around my base. Small areas that is attackers happen to run across. BOOM! They suddenly go bye bye! You could try to abush attackers, by leaving what looks like an opening for them to attack through, but when they do, SURPRISE! Sometimes the best defenses are small ones that cannot be easily seen by attackers. Would also make people use better stategies for attacks other just a mass wave. Just 2 or 3 small areas that used around perimeter of base. A good surprise could help a smaller player win battles over seemily overwhelming attacks. Would also make attackers use better startegy for attacks. Just an idea I had.
