How do I find an attacker on the map????

There is a guy who keeps attacking me but I can't find him on the city map?
Is there a way to find a player with a search or something so I can retaliate?

upgrade your gate and when he attacks your neighborhood the report will tell you where he is. If he is attacking only a cityscape then you will just have to look for him.

At least to Level 6 in order to get the coords, increase higher for a breakdown of unit types and number of each unit.
