    Throne Room Boosts

    Please help.

I am trying to (at least) kill some scouts from this 10m might. I am 45m might and all research is at max. My TR is basic!

His throne room is as follows:

    Throne Room
    Combat Speed: 8%
    Attack: 17%
    Range: 12%
    Food Production: 13%
    Troop Training Speed: 6%
    Stone Production: 40%
    Bonus to Wall: 150%
    Range Debuff: -25.5%
    Horsed Combat Speed Debuff: -4%
    Infantry Life: 17%
    Ranged Attack: 39%
    Siege Range: 4%
    Siege Range Debuff: -8%
    Defense Debuff: -11%

CAN I THROW ANYTHING AT THIS GUY???

Can you post an attack report so we can see exactly what he's sending and how much effective range over siege his archers have?

My first instinct is to quit trying to kill scouts and send in heavy artillery...at only 10m might, he can't have the siege to withstand that kind of attack for long.

It's because he has Range. You'd need to buff yourself and debuff him so you have equal or higher range before you can start doing damage.

The one that I am wondering about isn't range but combat speed, presumably a buff will get you there faster and give you a better chance against the range, but if you have a 100% comabt speed debuff does this mean that the enemies troops will just sit in the city playing cards while you attack ??

The maximum effective speed debuff is said to be -50% so we may never know.

didn't strike me at the time I posted the debuff question but if you attack with a combat speed buff won't that just put you in the range of more defending troops quicker rather than actually help you. i.e you get within the range of ballis and archers faster?

If your troops have targets they will not move and if they have no targets generally moving them faster to get targets is better.
maybe a few exceptions by moving too far and catching an extra attack.
I can't come up with a good example mostly strange things may happen when you have range troops out of range meeting multiple types of range troop.
but I think the with all the variable throne rooms I would go with faster is better.

In other words, I need to spend a lot of money (similar to him) to get anywhere now. It is becoming the game for "willing to spend more" ...
