well about 30 attempts and 200 gems later I have managed to take 2 items down a level is this how its ment to work. The odds have to be at least 50% or going up 5 levels is almost impossible you will go down more then up and with gems to boost you should be up to at least 75% on all but maybe the top level. I don't expect it to be easy just possible without lottery winning luck. will be waiting for it to be fixed before i get anymore gems to try again

They learned, no insurance this time, so no 100%, all you can do is keep buying the optional items to make sure your item won't break or downgrade... more $$$ that way since the success rate is extremely low...
Hmmmm... so, for those of us that don't even have the option to upgrade TR items yet, can we get some details at all? Maybe some screenshots and an idea of what you're talking about? Is it an item that you craft to upgrade a TR item, or is it the TR item itself that you craft on?
Honestly, coming into the forums to complain is fine... pointless, but fine. Sharing what you and a half-dozen other domains are seeing/experiencing might actually help players out and serve a purpose.
