I must say thank you to TsungTzu though, gives a good reference point and estimate of what will be effective. Cheers mate!
If you're knights skill is 114 or more, you can kill a level 1 with 8K archers and of course the scout. Anything other than a level 1..... scout first

    This "Guide" is awful!

Why anyone would send anything other than MM's, is beyond me,

All DF's can easily be defeated with MM's up to and including level 9.

People who waste decent troops like horses, ballista, and cats on DF's, you need your heads read.

I agree this guide is worthless crap. But MM is not necessarily the best way. I used MM only to build up my knights and worked on TR to strengthen my troops vs Dark forests ie bonus vs dark forest, defense buff, attack buff. Now I use cavalry only. With MM I would fail alot on higher level DF's even if I didn't lose all my troops, I would be going through millions of MM, and it would take longer to hit the same number of DF's. Cavalry have higher stats so I never fail, my losses are always low, and I have killed all my targets in short time. The higher stats also mean my TR is giving higher bonus.

To say "All DF's can easily be defeated with MM's up to and including level 9." isn't even accurate. Sure you can easily defeat DF's up to level 9 with MM but not all of them, most of them over level 6 will tear your MM to shreds. You have to scout them and pick off the weak ones that CAN be easily defeated, those being the ones that are very high in Wanders of Din.
