    Talk about the Territorial Map!

Our test of the territorial map in the Flatland Sector ran into issues late on Friday. These issues required us to temporarily disable the map in that Sector while we developed a fix.

We're sorry for the trouble, but also very happy that we've caught these issues before putting maps out to the entire game! This is why we decided to introduce the map with a limited release in the Flatland Sector only.

The map is back now, and we're looking for more feedback about what you think. Try out the map for a few days, and give us your opinions and ideas!

If you haven't seen the territorial map yet, join the Flatland Sector and try it today!

For some reason I'm unable to switch sectors. I made a character prior to the mess that happened Friday and now I can't get out of Leo Minor. It's not a big deal but making sure its not tied to anything bug related with the new map.

Give me your EW name and Sector, I'll check your account and see what I can do. I assume you'd like to have an account in Flatland?

I have seen the new Territorial Map on the Flatland Sector and would it be so hard to ask you guys to add protection for the new bases that we beat, at least one hour protection. or allow us to modify the base

    Stats

I thought that it would be good to allow the leader of the group or all of the group to see the stats for their group. Like who took over how many bases and what type the bases were. I think it would help to allow teams accountability for each other and for recognition within the team for top performers.

Maybe add a feature for what you said on the activity log.
A 5th color would be for maps.

While the concept of the maps is a good change... This now gives an alliance the ability to totally dominate a team and the sector. Right now, in flatland, it is kinda like that game of risk we all have played.... all the alliances except one have Australia, one team has North and South America.....the end, without a change in the rules; is unavoidable... and with the rewards of the game, the powerful alliance - gets more powerful, even faster than normal. If every person had their own 'map' that they had to conquer, it would potentially change the game around, so instead of hitting helio 250 1000 times, you would now be limited, since there would only be so many of those bases to hit....

Just a suggestion, a member of my alliance is colour blind and is struggling to distinguish between the green and yellow bases (Alliance and Neutral).

Would it be worth changing the neutral bases to grey in colour? This would also match the Alliance shields.

Just a thought before this gets rolled out to all sectors. This must affect a proportion of other people too!

This feature requires people to be able to distinguish between base types to be able to attack and gain territory.

    Map Experience

Why don't they give experience for upgrading bases?

Just would like to now how to use the map. I can't find myself or anyone in my alliance. Neo.
