Need a way to freeze your account

There should be a way for you to freeze your account so that if you are going to be gone for a few days or whatnot, you don't have to worry about someone turning you into a farm. When your account is frozen, no one can attack you, but you wont gain any resources. and to prevent people from just freezing their account when they go to sleep, maybe make it so you can only freeze it in 24 hour increments, or that you have to wait 24 hours before you can freeze it again etc And maybe make it so no one can freeze their account while troops are in route to attack you - this way you can't just freeze your account to get out of an attack.

There are items in the shop that grant you protection from any and all attacks for 12 and 24 hours. 12 hour Olive Branch and 24 hour Olive Branch.

LMAO!!!!! Yeah, they only cost 10,000 diamonds. This should be a feature like the OP brought up, something we should not have to pay real cash for.
When in doubt REFRESH the page and all will be fixed

This is most likely because they have not figured out good price yet. There are more items in shop with 10K price tag.

They will not be 10k diamonds when they are available to actually purchase.

I don't care how much they cost you shouldn't have to pay to suspend your account the way I am talking about. Besides which if someone is on vacation or sick etc are they supposed to login every day to keep buying and using the attack protection?

I hope they actually remove those items. Otherwise this game really does belong to whoever has deep pockets. I wish we could see in a player's profile how many diamonds they have spent.

The game is for revenue, it is available to play for free, but naturally those with "deep pockets" will have an advantage, if there were no advantages in spending money, no one would spend any, and this game would not be around for very long. It is the people spending money that allows Kabam to generate revenue to finance future development, expansions, and more games, without them, there is no Kabam. The bottom line is these games are a business and just like any business, their main function is generating revenue.

I realize that they need to make money. But in order to make a good game it needs to require players to use some skill. I don't like in general being able to buy advantages in a game but i realize the need for them. How else would kabam make money? But I think they need to walk a fine line. And I think something like buying attack protection goes over the line, as does being able to use a speed up to attack a player. With enough money you are literally invincible. Diamonds should give you an advantage. But it should still be possible for someone to overcome that advantage without having to spend money.

It seems to me that the advantages are too strong. I guess I'll have to wait and see how frequently people buy and use them. If it's infrequently then it shouldn't be too bad. But if there's enough players with deep pockets then there won't be any point in playing this game.

So this is just another game that someone can buy there way to the top? If so, then count me out. THere are benefits you can give to people who donate that do not give them a distinct advantage in building the character. I understand the need to make money, so either give special perks that does not give the person a game playing advantage or charge a very reasonable fee to play. We are all gamers and all of us pay for video console games, so if this game is good most of us will pay to play. It has always amazed me how people will run out and buy loads of console games at $59.99 a pop or even buy PC games off the shelf, but then they expect to play online games for free. IMO

I wonder if they have considered running 2 versions of the game. One where you buy diamonds and one where there are no diamonds (except maybe as loot) but you have to pay 5 a month to play... I wonder which would make them more money. Sadly, I bet selling diamonds would make more. Regardless, if to many people make use of the instant attack or attack immunity I'll bail since I think those two advantages are too much.
