    Quick Guide: Map View

    *Quick Guide: Map View*

While most of our guides have covered many aspects of Global Warfare that occur within your city, as some wised folks once said, this is only half the battle. The other half of the game takes place on the map screen. Here you can view what lies outside of your city, and encounter both friends and enemies on your quest for Global Dominance.

Here are some targets you can come across when scanning the map:

    Player Cities

Description: Player controlled cities that occupy the landscape of the world. These players can be friend or foe, depending on your choices in game. Any scouting or attacks sent will trigger a report alerting them to your actions, so make sure to take care with how you deal with other players near your nation.

    Wild - Plains

Description: Location where you can build new cities on. These spaces still will have defensive forces protecting their borders, so you will have to overpower them with your troops in order to claim this Wild and construct a new city once you possess the correct Plans.

    Wild – Grassland

Description: Conquering and occupying a Grassland will increase your Food production depending upon the level of the Wild. A Level 10 Wild will increase your production by 50%!

    Wild – River

Description: Conquering and occupying a River will increase your Food production depending upon the level of the Wild. A Level 10 Wild will increase your production by 50%!

    Wild – Oil Field

Description: Conquering and occupying an Oil Field will increase your Oil production depending upon the level of the Wild. A Level 10 Wild will increase your production by 50%!

    Wild – Mountain

Description: Conquering and occupying a Mountain will increase your Steel production depending upon the level of the Wild. A Level 10 Wild will increase your production by 50%!

    Wild – Hills

Description: Conquering and occupying a “Hills” will increase your Stone production depending upon the level of the Wild. A Level 10 Wild will increase your production by 50%!

    Terrorist Camps

Description: Terrorist Camps contain invaders that can be scouted and attacked like normal Wilds. The difference being that Terrorist Camps are tougher than normal Wilds, but the rewards are much greater. These camps also cannot be conquered and owned.

    Wasteland

Description: Wastelands are impenetrable, and cannot be attacked or conquered.

    *Quick Guide: Generals*

Generals are arguably one of the most important units in your Army. Generals Lead your troops into Battle and can provide combat bonuses, as well as occupy a post within your General’s Quarters to provide benefits within your city.

    >> Appointing Generals

In order to appoint a new General, first go to your Generals Quarters. From here, then select the “Appoint Generals” option as pictured below:

Your Generals will be drawn from a list of your current Facebook or Google+ friends. (Appointing a friend of yours as a General will not send any kind of spam or messaging to this player) Here is a breakdown of the interface of your General and what this information means:

    A) Generals Pic
    B) Amount of Generals Energy remaining for the day (Refills to 4 each day)
    C) Experience Bar and Level. The General pictured is Level 6 and has almost reached Level 7.
    D) Green “+” sign, which will allow you to use items to increase the current Exp Level of this General.
    E) Clicking on this “X” on the top right of this status screen will allow you to dismiss your General.

    >>Roles

To the right of your current list of Generals you will see a list of roles where existing Generals can be assigned. Assigning will use up 1 Energy, and in order to stay in this role the General will require Gold per hour to remain at their post. Here is a list of the available roles and their benefits:

    Quartermaster

Description: Assigning a General to this role will increase the Resource Production of your city by 1% per General Level.

    Army Chief of Staff

Description: Assigning a General to this role will increase your training speed, attack rate, and defense of all troops who are in defense of your city by 0.5% per General Level.

    Chief Scientist

Description: Assigning a General to this role will increase your Research Speed by 0.5% per General Level.

    Chief Engineer

Description: Assigning a General to this role will increase your Building Construction speed by 0.5% per Level.
