Beginner's Guide / Tips for new players

I'm level 27 /lvl5castle in the Kingdoms of Camelot Game.
Finally able to conquer 2 wildernesses: 1-lvl1hill, 1-lvl1woods, and 1 plain to a new/another city. I did not notice that my food supply was dwindling when I mouse over'ed it to reveal a notice in red that said food supply will run out in 24 hrs. from that point, I frantically researched the forums for possible solutions. I tried getting food from barbarians, but kept losing soldiers. I sent in, what I thought was a fair amount of soldiers to a lvl2 barb. camp: 200 militiamen, 50 pikesmen, 50calvary, 50swordsmen, 50 Archers,
30 supplytroops and 1 supply wagon... after the losses, I tried to put up 3 new farms and up-ing to lv2, after upgrading 4 already in place to lvl 6, only to find that the food will run out even sooner. Now it says food will run out in less than 10 hours.

I've plenty of cottages 8-lvl4 3-lvl1l; 2Barracks Lvl7 and Lvl4.
3-lvl6mines and 4-lvl4mines
4-lvl6mills 1-lvl5mill
3-lvl5quarry's

Can somebody help me to balance this out? How do I track population (which says 0), salaries, and resources?
Really frustrated! Please help.

i use more troops than that on a lvl 1 camp ...i would send at least 3000 troops maybe more

links not work, also have attacked lvl 1, + 3 plains countless times but dont know how to control the plain, so as to build 2nd city.

Hi, I feel like a real idiot. I have assigned three knights, but when I go to attack my first wilderness, nothing shows up when I click on 'choose a knight'. Why can't I assign one of the knights I named when I was building my city? Do I absolutely have to link to my facebook account to do this?

OK, I gave in and connected to my facebook account because I figured that might be the only way to fix this. And now I can't find my city!!! What the heck!!! How do I get it back, please?!~!!!

Hi, Sorry about that. I'm in Kingdoms of Camelot.

It's frustrating, because I spent a week building that city, and just as it came out from behind the mists, it's gone. And, I can't attack anyone, because my knights aren't recognized by the game. It could have been blown to smithereens in the last six hours and I wouldn't know.

Why can't i send my troops out? I can't select my knights, but i have 4 of them, anyone who knows how to solf this?

If youy have assigned the four jobs to your 4 knights they don't fight, they work. Get a 5th knight, then he will be available to lead yoour troops.
