Idea for gaining the best throne room card

The best idea for gaining the best throne room card . First find and inactive player and check his castle level. If his/her castle level is more than level-11 just attack him with just 1 Heavy Cavalry. And see the result you will be the victorious with a best throne room card . Remember the person you are attacking must be far from you and should take nearly 2 minutes to attack that city.

I am not disputing that attacking castles generates TR items; however, you are stating this is the best method to accumulate Great cards. For this reason I think it would be beneficial in this thread to to get input from all on what the best method is and the best cards they have acquired through this means.

There are several ways to get TR cards in game:

Attacking Wilds, usually 8, 9, 10 yield best results owned or unowned,
Attacking (not Raiding) Barbs lvl 8, 9, 10 preferred
    Attacking Dark Forests
Attacking another player, high level-castle inactive or active, or when in battle (glory)
Buying or Winning TR cards in shop on promotional random events
Did I miss any? if so please comment

My personal in-game experiences with the above methods of generating TR cards and the best cards I received have been:

Got my first triple range table attacking lvl 8 plain unowned at Simple level then upgraded it, also got several doubles of triple range table since from lvl 9 Hills, castles lvl 12 owned while attacking, barbs 9, 10
Got my first triple range chair attacking lvl 9 hill unowned at Simple level then upgraded it, also got two afterwards from attacking lvl 10 barb
Got my first double range Trophy attacking lvl 10 Barb
Got a nice Double Crafting table attacking lvl 10 Barb
Most of my keepers were collected at lvl 10 Barbs, majority at Simple although a couple were found at Uncommon or Common.

    Indirect Knowledge

Two people I know in-game received Triple range window from attacking lvl 12 active castle in battle and the other from attacking lvl 10 Barb

There is another thread for displaying the best cards you've gotten here http://community.kabam.com/forums/sh...ome-Cards-Only please use this thread to do that

Maybe there is a pattern to obtaining the best cards but from my experience higher levels only seem to drop cards more frequently and often results in higher level cards (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic) from being dropped more regularly. Furthermore, typically these cards are less desirable as well and usually only good for generating astone by Salvaging them and using the astone collected from them for the purposes of upgrading the rarer Simple Awesome cards that I find.

I personally have come to see more benefit to attacking lvl 10 Barbs which generate most of my TR keepers (more then I mentioned above) and also benefits my alliances by not clogging reports keeping reports clear for reining and attacking players.

I prefer the Barbs most of all. I have gotten 4 chairs having Triple Range Buffs from Barbs. 2 each from a lvl7 and 2 from a lvl9 Barb Camp. My main Target is the lvl9 right beside my city and I get more A-stone from salvage than I can use myself even with Crafting as much as I can. The added benefit to "Cresting" BarbCamps over the other ways is it does not clutter Alliance Reports and there is no loss of troops if the correct march is sent. Wilds have traps that will always be a loss of some troops and inactives sometimes don't stay inactive, lol. The key to getting good TR cards is volume and sorting. The good cards will nearly always be low quality and require Enhancing/Upgrading to be Great Cards. Look at all the lines on acard. If it doesn't have multiple useful effects that actually work well together, it is scrap. It takes lots of time to find the best Cards so don't waste it on a crappy card that just looks good. Understanding the Battle System will also help you learn what attributes make up an AWESOME single Card.

Yah I like the barbs too, I only crest barbs as I get most of my favorite cards off them and so do others for example,

    and

They do take forever though, and sometimes you got to accept less perfect cards to get what you want. It's good to be picky but sometimes you got to settle for less

I hit (exclusively) lv 7 barbs. This is so I can hit them as much as possible when I'm online and still keep my troop training speed active (as opposed to range, I like to use archers exclusively because they're faster than siege and take no losses).

I've accumulated 130% range, 106% range debuff, 441% combat speed, 257% troop training speed, 919% defense buffs and loads of other great benefits. It didn't take me all too long, a couple months at best, since I salvage any lesser cards and use the astone for upgrades/enhances and lesser lucky token crafting. I then use those lesser luckies during doubled/tripled enh/upg events.

This has been my favorite method.

    The cards I have include:
    triple range thrones lines 3,4,5
    triple range tables lines 3,4,5
triple range banners lines 3,4,5 (range range debuff and siege range)
    5 line combat speed throne
    5 line defense throne
    5 line defense debuff window
    and so on. . .

Do with it what you will, but I train troops fast and get great items (most of which I salvage now because I already have as good or better). Also, my alliance looks to me when they need astone, and I am more than happy to provide it, sending about 1 mil per march (city max).

I spent many months frustrated at hitting lv 12 castles until I found this method, which is where pretty close to ALL my items have come from.

ok so I did get better results with the barbs then cresting castles. my question is what is a good troop number to send at a lvl 7 barb?

I've hit them all, and with my best cards coming from level 8 barbs. I also found out that if you keep hitting the same one all the time, it will slow down thw rate of cards it gives. So I switch them up all the time.
