lucky tokens? where is the luck?

hi all,
has anyone noticed any difference while using lucky tokens?, i havnt had 1 work for me once.
i filled my throne room with useless cards and tried enhancing each of them (to which they all failed), as soon as the activity bonus meter was full, i then moved on to my range card. it is at +2, i used 46 protection stones and 23 lucky tokens which i have been savin for a while, it failed every time.
i am still trying to get it to +3. i also have a level 10 forgemasters resolve which i dont think is doing its job either.
just wondering if the so called lucky tokens have worked for anyone else or if its just another money making scam.
if kabam delete this thread then we know the answer.

had a 3 range card go from lvl 5 to 6 after 8 tries of lucky lesser tokens , guess i just got lucky , but before that tried loads of them and not 1 sucess ...

same, used a load of lesser tokens y'day on a triple range card and no luck, used lucky tokens today went to +6 on 4th try

Why is that? Shouldn't all of our odds average out in the end for players with same stats, and trying same card?

You missed it Ivok.. It SHOULD be, but if you spend lots of money weekly, your "odds" go up greatly. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS>>> OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE... Dont you wonder why they wont give us the odds of upgrading? Because they suck so bad, that no one in their right mind would WASTE a penny on anything to upgrade anything past like lvl 3.

I think we're all aware of that, also it's usually just those who don't spend as much as Kabam would like that shout the loudest about it.
FWIW I spend the grand total of ZIP on this game and whilst it remains a BETA game that amount will not increase.
Others can do what they like with their money and if their spending gets them some sort of advantage in the game...so what, they're paying for it and all they ever take from me when they use that advantage is a little of my time spent building the stuff. It IS just a game after all (even though some like to treat it as an extension of their libido).

i had 2 cards go up to lev 7, ive had nothing for ages, so i say it did work also another card go from 4 to 6 without tokens. Luck day for me

I would guess that with an infinite number of tries yes everyone's results would be the same. But just like with other games of chance when you have a fixed number of tries between multiple people each individual will have different results. For example if a million people each by 10 scratch lottery tickets will they all have the same result? No. If they all bought a trillion scratch tickets? No, results would be closer but not identical one of them is likely going to win more then others. Do they all have the same odds of winning? Yes.

I had a lot of luck this time around. I had about 350 lesser tokens that I saved up from crafting since the last time we had this. I got my 3 range card go from +2 all the way up to +6, had two different training cards go from +4 to +5...and a few other cards go up a level. Did try to take that range card from +6 to +7 using a little more than 100 tokens, no go, but maybe next time
