I do not understand why i lose power when i win a battle. I could see losing power if i lose i too many troops but there is no reason i should lose power if i win a battle. I should gain power not lose it

that happens 2 me too sometimes. even when I don't loose troops
You lose power because TON is jsut a game of chess, attacker has the first go, then the defender has theres. Go and read the battle mechanics to understand it better.

Has a war in history ever been fought that did not have losses of life on BOTH sides? Not one that I can think of.
I really don't care about power. It's not a measure of skill, or knowledge, or the strength of the troops you possess. It is just a number. As long as the opponent lost more than me, I'll be happy. Even if I lose more, I'll be just fine. I learned what I did wrong, and can figure out a way to win next time.
