New Crews can no longer create a name with the brackets, but unfortunately we could not go through and make the changes to the legacy Crews. Even if you’ve already tried them, please try once more. Sometimes you may be playing a “cached” version of the game, which means you may be playing the game with some old code. When this happens, you may experience issues that interfere with your game play.

SO THIS IS THE CANNED ANSWER WE GET FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN REPORTING THIS ISSUE. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT INSTEAD OF SHRUGGING YOUR PLAYERS OFF!

What is wrong with you Kabam? I just gave up on tickets now. Your customer support asked for details about the crew cheating every time I report it. I give it to them and they say they can not tell me if they fixed it because of privacy. Anybody on the damn server can see that it has not been fixed. Do you think I am buying the new hood before or after you fix this problem? Soon the answer will be 'I dont care because I stopped playing this game because customer service PROMOTES cheating'. VASH you better answer this or I am gone.

Don't wanna be the odd one out here...but from what i see this issue has been fixed! On the Narducci Server i can't seem to be able to create crew names enclosed within ' <> ' .

The point is the old accounts with millions of respect that run crews with that name bug. They can still recruit new members so the issue has not been fixed. They just made it an exploit that only a select few can use.
