Thanks for the tip about dragonvale- there is a lot about DOA I like but there are other things that as time goes on I find I am not very interested in playing as much anymore- I am headed out to look up dragonvale now- sounds like it might be just what I am looking for in a game.

and before you say i've been playing the game wrong. i havent, i know that 34k lbm with 500-1000 at can and will take out a level 9 anthro camp (put anything else with them and they just die.) with the city dragon but to get enough to create the spectral outpost within a week? sorry but no it cant be done multiple people on here have pointed this out.

on topic, a ruby farm would be a good idea if they dont decide to limit the amount you can have for free in total so you can build up rubys to buy things like the much needed in game completion grants, problem is, if you make it an outpost then people will do nothing but raid the ruby outposts unless they make it off limits (until there is a scripting programe made so that you can raid these outposts.)
I said within the week AFTER protection ends. and YES it can be done. Very easily, and done by VERY many players without rubies. If you don't have the GD armor by the end of the first week then you ARE doing something wrong.

OR the player just got bored of spending hours a day doing the same thing over and over- waving camps/wild gets tedious and boring- this is one of the steps that is loosing Kabam alot of new players. If they make it past that point they soon find them selves in the same situation having to spend tedious hours day after day 'waving' trying to find eggs, armout etc- If players stick it out long enough to get their GD armor - they then find they are having to do the same thing over to progress to the next step- many just bored of it say forget it and quit.

The point I have been harping on for a long time.

1..Endless repetitive waving is not fun, and we are forced to do it for hours and hours.
    2. Battle is a lot of fun and we get very little of it.

Couldn't Kabam figure out a way to reduce the tedium and increase the fun?

I think that's a great idea, not all players are able to buy rubies after all. Or maybe allow players to buy 1 ruby for 1 k gold or something, or like you said login bonuses. Or an outpost that allows you to harvest a small amount of rubies per week. It'd make the game alot more fun instead of the endless waiting for training troups and leveling up buildings. I'm admiting this game is getting boring like hell, I'd be happy if they could increase the drop rate of dragon armour as well

1 Ruby for 1 K gold. Wow. Since I have about 20 billion gold, and I could get more whenever I wanted it, that would be 20 million Rubies!!!! Sorry, not gonna happen. But, opportunity to win a few rubies might keep people playing, and buying, longer. As it is, I bet nobody in my primary realm has spent a penny in at least a month. There hasn't been a peep in WC in 3 days.

Poor client retention- it takes time and investment to get customers- it would be cheaper it seems to invest a little of that effort/ad dollars, make a few changes and retain more of the clients they have-
