Depends if you have two cities or not. I believe that if you destroy the lab that has all the research upgraded then it will erase all bonuses with it. But if you have two cities which means two labs. You can remove one but keep the other. Hope this helps.

You can destroy both and still keep the research bonuses.

Can we get a little more confirmation to this? It it true that you can deconstruct your alchemy labs in both cities and retain your research? Or must you keep one lab to retain your research?

Basically, will you maintain your research levels in a city you no longer have an alchemy lab in? Please confirm this.

I can definitely confirm if you destroy, or never build, a lab in your 2nd city you will still get all the research benefits in that city. I'm doing my last level 10 research now so I'll try destroying my lab after it is done and confirm if research benefits are retained with no labs at all. Looking at the way the JSON data is formatted I suspect you will retain the research benefits.
