The point in the GV is that GV had a notorious bay. The smuggler would work there. Kind of nice to have them do something realistic to the scenario. Would be even better if they had family specific units.

It's not free vs paid players. It's pessimists vs optimists. Simple as that. Change is good, especially with a dynamic internet environment.

cnimativ, as for yours.... DAU/MAU in an uprise means more active players. Simple as that. Or that inactives are simply not logging in anymore. While the DAU may be decreasing, you must think that it is summer time as well. Hopefully some of you are going outside to get a breath of fresh air. Many college kids don't sit in their dorm rooms smoking weed and hoping a girl with less acne will miraculously fall into their beds. They go home, they catch up socially with their friends. Work tends to get busier. High school kids are off working for the summer or traveling with family. This game does not interest everyone. To signify that they have lost half of their FACEBOOK users does not capture a story. You are still here. I am still here. There are hundreds on my server ACTIVELY playing. How would I know? I keep tabs on the top 50 in each family. I watch their ratios. Yes, some leave. Unfortunately, you would be shocked to find out how much some grow. This lends me to believe that they are spending money, or playing more actively, which in turn tells Kabam to keep on keepin' on. Job rates are going up (if you believe Obama), so free time to spend on games such as these is decreasing. There is a ton of new video games that would directly compete with this game and it's demographics. For instance, huge beta testing of WoW, Diablo 3, etc etc. Now yes, there are plenty of folks who were truly pissed off about the way the game was handled during the duplication extravaganza, and the PvE being eliminated (both pissed me off, and I've invested time and money into this game), and some even left. Pepino for instance. Or those who were wiped clean of thousands and thousands of troops due to a fool who exploited the duplication, they probably felt what I felt, gasp for air, nonbelief, anger, resentment, and even hatred. Instead of quitting, or coming in here and calling Razia (who is in charge of public relations, including this forum, and writing the tournament info) out, or sending hundreds of support tickets that all said "I pay 4 diamonds, were r my fuking troops. fix now or I call BBB." probably all in cap locks too, I decided to send a logical, well written and supported ticket in. I even sent a return thank you for the hastiness in a hectic timeline. It took 3 days when they quoted 1 business day. How dare they *gasp* Interestingly enough, many people in my crew were given those same instructions, to fix their accounts, and mysteriously, Kabam listened and helped. There was even one who tried, who it was explained that they were legitimately wiped clean, and nothing could be done about it. I say that's pretty good.

arg... I'm getting off my soapbox. I just hate that everything on this board is always negative. Never a "Hey Razia, good job, tell your crew at least one person appreciates it"

Hey, look, another Kabam employee trying to pass himself off as something else on the forums!

I sent in one very nicely written, formal request to be paid back for the 30+ thousand troops I lost because of the glitch and me protecting my crew and it took OVER 3 weeks for them to respond. By that time I had given up and all but quit the game and turned my crew over on the Woltz server - the #1 crew on the server - to my 2nd in command and told them I was hardly going to be on any longer until I saw things had changed.

Your arguments for being nice and supportive go both ways, my friend.

I've never, not once, said they company doesn't deserve to make money. In fact I've blasted people on this forum that complain because they think something isn't fair to them as a free player compared to a paying player or that say this is a 'free' game. It is not. It is a game that you can play for free but that doesn't mean it is free. However, when you have a company that goes out of their way - like with this new unit once again - to try and FORCE people to either spend money or just become farms to paying players (even I, having been here around 7 or 8 months now don't have the requirements in GV to make these yet - but I'm not a paying player either) then you have a problem. Most companies have figured out that F2P is the wave of the future and understand that you make your game available to play for free but provide boosts or bonuses that elevate gameplay to those that will spend money on your game. You don't make it to where you can't compete, otherwise people leave... and they have by the thousands.

Maybe your server is new and maybe you all haven't learned, but on the older servers there are quite literally maybe dozens of players left and that may be kind. On Woltz there is 'my' crew that has maybe 20 active players and another 2 crews with maybe 10 active players combined in the Tattaglia family. That's it... 30 players if we're lucky. The only other active family is the Corleone's with maybe 50 players and that may be kind. At most... being deadly serious to Kabam... at most there are 100 players on this server (and it's probably really more like 80) and out of those I'd say maybe the same 30 are ever seen in chat and I know for a fact that there are a multitude of servers that are like that.

The game has gotten boring and it's dead.

Continued mistakes and glitches. Lost troops. Stuck marches. Ridiculous requirements to build troops. Dangling a carrot with lucky chance or Brooklyn rackets which used to give decent prizes now and then which peaked interest for non-paying players only to have them 'change' them mid-stream because Kabam needed people to continue spending money and not winning items. A non-responsive customer support unit that only knows how to say 'no'. Releasing a team support game and then not even allowing your team to support you by trading resources and in the beginning it taking MONTHS to even allow a crew member to reinforce you. And on and on and on and on and on and on the list goes of just ridiculous and stupid mistakes by this company.

So, Mr. Employee, come here and make your ridiculous posts like that one dude that trolls every single thread and says how great the company is, most of us know the truth and know what is going on and we're tired of it. The only reason we have stuck around is to try and force changes which Kabam seems reluctant to want to do - like merging servers - and instead just wants to keep making cosmetic changes and stupid little unit upgrades that further make it impossible for the average player to compete.

PS. And now you can't even get contracts despise the utter ignorance of employees like Razzia coming here and saying nothing has changed and the masses reporting that they've - like me - sent attack after attack after attack and are not getting contracts. I think I've sent at least 50 attacks, maybe more over the past few days just to check it and not one single contract earned.

its complete bs that if your nice to them they reply with a better response, for a starters, why should they reply better if your nice to them? thats not proffesional at all secondly ive sent many a nice and polite ticket in but if they are inept at their job they still aren't going to solve it now are they.

i was nice enough when i clearly won the cs contest, i sent in a ticket with the battle reports showing i held it last, i even sent in a screenshot of the "winner" saying that it was a shambles and i won, i got a reply saying theyd handed out the prizes now so tough luck try another event, thats just 1 of MANY examples i can bring up as for this new unit......

wasnt it only a few weeks ago kabam stated that all contracts had been merged and any new unit brought out would use these contracts instead? well that was a lie clearly.

secondly the influence requirement is a complete joke your saying if i had 17499 influence i couldnt train 1 but if i have 17500 i can train as many as i like till i reach my influence limit, ridiculous, im one of many that has 1 apartment in my hoods so my training times are faster and i can do something twice a day so now i have to wrecking ball these hideouts to make way for apartments (btw i had more than enough level 10 apartments about 2 weeks ago that i wrecking balled for hideouts)

on the other hand those complaining about the research requirements are idiots saying it will take forever on the old servers, im on a february server and i met those requirements well over a month ago without any speedups whatsoever, so your game needs tightening up nuff said.

but i do however agree that its going to be ridiculous on the new servers, noone will have them apart from diamond players (not because they will speedup everything because thats part of the game), everyone knows that in individual tournaments (not crew) its always the diamond players that win. its a joke that people will be running around with 7k of them and have people defending with pros at the best. i feel sorry for them because the same thing happened to me when snipers where out, i destroyed everyone on my server thru strategy and planning yet when they brought out snipers people where winning them left right and centre leaving me behind in the dust, 40k player owning a 200k player? yeh exactly it happened many a time and its gunna be repeated yet again.

When I started upgrading my Vault to level 8, I noticed a huge drop in the frequency of the drops from gangs and Mi gangs..when I started upgrading it to level 9...the frequency was even more less...NOW I am upgrading to level 10 and I get 4 drops out of 12 attacks to a MI gang.
When my vault was level 1-7, I was getting drops 10 out of 12 attacks to MI gangs. People in my crew have talked about the same issue for them. Is there a bug with upgrading the Vault further up that makes it NOT drop as frequently?

And about the new "Favors" for The Smuggler...This is as bad as taking away the respect from gangs and cityscapes. Sorry but it is NOT worth the losses of units to keep hitting them losing XP but not gaining respect and NOW the contracts are in a bundle of 10. C'mon that is insulting to players and all know it. You lose units for 10 contracts?

The whole point of converting the Butcher and sniper contracts to Assassin contracts , then all those to Unit Contracts was for ALL future units but NOW we have to collect Favors?! Kabam, you guys go back n forth on your words to the players without keeping your Word. And yes i understand that your are in the money making business but you really need to follow through on your words. Don't say one thing then do another thing. A lot more players that put money in you guys' pockets will be quitting this game because of this. Consumers do NOT like being told one thing then another is done!

I have gotten 3 of the mystery boxes which in total gave me 5k contracts. Seriously? Now instead of being able to split all my contracts up between my assassins and the NEW unit...i have 38k of contracts for a unit that will now be useless.

The " Mystery Boxes" from the bearer bonds should contain speed ups from 15hrs up, with as many gangs as u have to hit and the amount of troops you lose for them. A 2.5hr speed up is discouraging with what u have to hit to get 100 bonds. Not only that with being able to get "unit contracts" from level 9, 10 and MI gangs..it is a bit discouraging to get Unit contracts, that CANNOT be used for this NEW unit.

Ok now I have complained ! Have a good day. ( a very discouraged player at the moment) >.<

Kabam have screwed up yet again, they had the requirements at 18 Medicine & Muscle but swapped it last second which caused a few players to use a lot of speed ups to get to 18. But the contract thing is stupid as hell. How can they say that all contracts will be converted for the new unit and then do stupid favors?. Also the drop rate sucks for favors big time, I sent 40 attacks and got no favors?, how you work that one out?. Sort this out Kabam, you always release something on a Friday that has something screwed up with it and then we have to wait till Monday for it to be fixed.

Tatt I have sent over 70 attacks to MI gangs and No favors what so ever. I still think there is a bug with upgrading the Vault to higher levels 8-10. But what do i know? lol

Ok 180 hits now - ZERO favors dropped. I have level 10 vault building now.

I did manage to win 2x 100 favor bundles from lucky chance this morning. Looks like the only place they are seeded.

I'm done wasting my time "farming" for these stupid things. Going to play other games that work this weekend now.

I think I'm going to just quit. All morning of hitting Gangs and not a single drop of a Favor. I stayed through all the bs with cloned troops and what not, but they just have no clue how to run a game.
