I can't get back to my city

During the maintenance, I deleted and reinstalled and logged in using my SAME kabam ID, and it took me to a new city. I just want my old cities back. I invested a lot of time into them. Please help! My name is Robb in world Kay2

I had done the same thing I switched worlds and wanted to go back... Go back to where you select what world to go to and one of them should say return. Done

I am in the same world as I was before. I can see my old cities on the map. I just want to play them again and help my alliance

From your description the only reason I see is that you logged in with a different KabamID by mistake, maybe just misspelling your email or game name. I would suggest you to delete the App and log in again wiht your original KabamID making sure to type it correctly.
If it doesn't work There is also the possibility that you misspelled your email the FIRST time you created your Kabam ID, in this case I would contact players support for personal assistance as they can access your info

Players Support is going through tickets and tackling issues case by case as fast as they can, they will respond to you as soon as possible.

Goto your username and password again and put in correct info, then go to top left box where your name is, then click to World tab and try returning to the server your city was on.
