SUMMER SOLSTICE OFFERINGS - Living Shrine

In ancient times, Atlantis citizens set up shrines and offered sacrifices to the Gods. Ge or Gaia was God over the Earth and mother to all things living. It is appropriate to set this shrine in her habitat so she will bless the grounds and make them fertile this Season.

So I could not edit or delete the post, I will just add on...

I was meaning to say that the shrine was set up for Ge and the sun, photographed at sunset for max effect. With Ge's fertility blessing and the sun's ultimate power, this is a shrine that Atlantis Citizens would have worshiped at. Here is the pagan prayer (held in a garden or the woods):

As the sun spirals its longest dance,
    Cleanse us
As nature shows bounty and fertility
    Bless us
Let all things live with loving intent
And to fulfill their truest destiny

I can't help but notice that many of the entries seem to have been designed outside of these rules. My understanding is that certain items were required to be in the shrine and we were limited to the use of only one of each of the specific item. Not only because of this post, but because the list of items says “AN apple, A burning candle, A flowering plant”. The wording emphasizes one, not many, of these items should be used. I see entries that seem to be missing some of the items and others that have multiple of the required items (multiple candles, multiple apples, or multiple “flowering plants”). Personally, I designed mine keeping in mind this post where you specified that we are restricted to ONE each of the required items. Have the rules been changed and I overlooked it? If so, please make it more clear so that I may have time to reconstruct my shrine in the next 3 hours to give myself a sporting chance at winning a prize.
I know it seems petty that I am hoping that those of the participants that used many candles or many plants or apples are not judged to be a winner over me who followed the rules and did his best with the restrictions placed on him. Rules are rules and you shouldn't be punished for following them and rewarded for ignoring them, right? I know it appears that I’m only worried about “winning rubies” but it’s really a matter of rules and sportsmanship. I did the best I could within the posted restrictions and I think it would be unfair to award top places to people that ignored the restrictions.

First off, thanks for pointing that out...i went a little overboard on some of the items and I will correct that...but you have to realize that you did'nt follow the rules yourself. It would be unfair for you to win as well it seems.

If you read the post you'll see that, yes ,you need only ONE of each item, but also a piece of paper or a sign with your name and realm. Most people didn't do that...as anyone could find pictures of shrines online and photoshop their name into it. I'm not saying you did that, in fact your shrine is very nice =). But putting a physical name into your shrine says, "this is mine...i made it."

    Just a heads up =)

I gather that the people and a race who harness the potentials of the wildernesses by thousands, able to control the dragons and eagerly upgrade and advance their knowledge led by scientific and religious principles and dogmas and most of all able to raise the dead and use mystical powers, are therefore at least capable of not living like savages and are capable of forming a normal society, having their lives arranged by law and order with a minimalistic and sustainable approach of some sorts. Thus, my vision of the shrine evokes a highly developed form of psyche and self-awareness, where people can have metal shaped apple holders, marble shaped honey jar pedestals, porcelain plates and china and some sense of what is beautiful, while forming the candles, their shrine illumination...

I have not taken much attention to the number of the items, I have interpreted it as if I have one, it is the required minimum and the number higher than that is welcomed, showing the vastness and richness of the Atlantian homes...
