its from your troops, every troop has a required upkeep for food, if you have an upkeep higher than your production you will not produce food, you must increase your production get a second city to store your troops

Well, your troops are eating more food than you are making, quite simply. Make more farms to make more food or go attack other players to get resources. The best way to do it is to have a 2nd city so you can train your troops then REASSIGN them to the 2nd city. Make sure that the city you are reassigning to is NOT your food city. That way you can keep making troops and not have them eat up all your food. You do NOT need to feed themwhen they are in the second city. There is nothing wrong with the game just you have too many troops for the number/level of farms you have.
you might also have to dismiss some troops to get your upkeep number down, the better solution is see if you can reinforce someone in your alliance. When your troops are at someone elses city you are off the hook for feeding them. IMPORTANT note that this is only temporary fix, in order for you to make a few more farms or upgrade; because you are giving the same problem to someone else. They may not mind for a little while, a day or two, but its a stop gap solution...
