I just decided to stop upgrading my lv 11 CC to lv 12. When I hit cancel it said I would not get my cores back, so I did not cancel the upgrade. What a silly update Kabam. Let me cancel the update and get my cores back.

uhm to my understanding that has been the case for a while now. this is not a new update. every time u cancel a research or upgrade u lose part of your res. in case of lvl 10-12 build also the core. someone correct me if i am wrong. hope this helps
Nope, this is new. I cancelled my colony CC upgrade when the level 12 came out, because I decided to upgrade a supply depot first. I got the core back. But now, it is not the same case. So this stupid and extremely greedy update is not more than 2 days old.Originally Posted by NightSun

i got my core when i canceled upgrade, but that was 2 monts before, so, this is new... it sucks...
This is indeed new, but i don't see why you would want to stop upgrading a building that you already decided to upgrade.

I cancelled my upgrade right after I made the first post and it gave me my core back! I guess I got lucky.

You are wrong sire. It is new. Previously you would get the core back. At least till like 3 days back. And Stix, there can be a million reasons to cancel an upgrade. You cannot justify every stupid move of Kabam, which I see you try to do. I started my CC on colony, and then I realized that my supply depot needs to be upgraded to put level 10 bomba research on. So I cancelled it (and got my core back), upgraded a depot, and restarted my cc. Since then however this seems to have changed.
